1. Ticket Purchasing

1.1 All tickets purchased for Sefton Council run events will be via See Tickets, THE WAY AHEAD GROUP LIMITED. How your data is used and protected can be detailed in our Privacy Policy here.

1.2 All tickets are subject to an admin fee. Tickets are not transferable and are valid for the date displayed on the ticket only.

2. Cancellation

2.1 The event management reserve the right to cancel any event due to adverse weather or any other instance that may compromise public safety or affect the overall display quality/ enjoyment.

2.2 We will endeavour to ensure all events are run to publicised timings and dates. If there is a change or cancellation we will contact all online ticket buyers via email (if provided) and publicise on the relevant event website and social media sites, this is part of a contractual obligation as detailed in our privacy policy.

2.3 Event Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable except in the instance of Event cancellation.

2.4 If we cancel the event before it commences, we will issue a full refund for all tickets valid for the date(s) cancelled.

2.5 If we abandon the event after 50% of the event has commenced, we will not refund any tickets.

2.6 If we cancel the event due to government restrictions (covid-19 related) which has an adverse effect on the running of the event or the health and safety of our visitors and/or staff, we will issue a full refund. Refund details are below.

2.7 We will refund the value of the ticket less the admin fee.

2.8 To obtain a refund you should follow the procedure below.

If tickets were purchased online an automatic refund will be made to the original payment method within 30 days.

If tickets were purchased on site at the box office, you can return to the box office on the event day/night for a refund. You must have your original tickets for a refund to be issued as this is your proof of purchase. No tickets, no refund. This is subject to the decision of the event management on day.

3. Accessibility

The accessible entrance for Salt and Tar is via Washington Parade and there are many accessible areas on level concrete ground for enjoyment of our food, drink and entertainment village.

Accessibility for each ticketed event varies and will be detailed on the ticket providers webpage.

  • Salt and Tar has accessible toilets available on site.
  • Salt and Tar has an accessible toilet unit, equipped with a hoist and changing bench is also available on site.
